Located at the heart of the Eureka Golf Course, Cocina Mariposa is a purveyor of unique Michoacán cuisine from Chef Marisela Carrillo.

Cocina Mariposa opened in August 2019 and is located inside the Eureka Municipal Golf Course golf shop. Chef Carrillo has been serving quality interpretations of Mexican dishes inspired by regional Michoacán cuisine tapping into classic recipes and giving them a twist. Many of the ingredients are locally sourced and organic whenever possible!

Cocina Mariposa’s bright colors and outstanding view reflect the vibrant culture of el estado de Michoacán while also paying tribute to the beauty and inspiration Humboldt county has to offer. The large glass windows overlooking the golf course offer front rows seats to the green fields dappled with redwoods, or you can watch the chefs cooking up a storm in the open-kitchen dining room.
